After installing Firefox Install the Download manager
tweak extension (important).Install Leechget ( others
may work…i dont know).
——–The MAIN steps—————————-
Using Firefox visit www.Myhotsite.net,scandals or any other section.Choose the file you want to download. Megaupload page opens up.After those pesky seconds go,click the download link.Firefox’s download manager window pops up and your file starts downloading.In that window right click the name of your file. A pop up menu appears with 3 options.
1. Pause/Resume,
2. Stop
3. Properties.
Click on properties. Another window appears. It shows two addresses boxs. The bottom address box has link of the file you are downloading to your pc…eg: C:\my documents\ xxx.avi.
Ignore it. The upper text box has the link address from WHERE you are downloading the file….eg:www.megauploads.com\xxx.avi.
COPY THAT LINK———-AND START LEECHGET
click on File> new download> start wizard.A window with a textbox appears.Paste your copied link into it.Click next……..
——–CAUTION————————————
Although your file is getting downloaded leechget will show the speed as 0.0kb.However file progress is visible.I dont think Leechget supports resuming from megaupload,I didnt try,BUT when pc crashed while
downloading,all I had to the was double click the partially downloaded file and it resumed.I think it does.
——Watching those partially downloaded leechget files——
Very important.while download is in progress,you cant watch preview. So for example xxx.avi is being downloaded,just make a copy of it eg:copy of xxx.avi,then drag into media player.Delete the copy after copying. Because you need a new copy to preview again as more data will be downloaded.
